Apertura Inglese 1.c4. Sistema Botvinnik, per il Bianco

Nel video introduttivo, spiego i motivi per cui, secondo me, dovresti conoscere questo sistema di apertura:
1) ti fa studiare una struttura pedonale;
2) ti fa studiare piani tipici di attacco, sull’intera scacchiera! (lato di Donna, di Re ed al centro);
3) ti serve col Nero, contro la Siciliana chiusa (corrisponde al setup Russo, a colori invertiti);
4) lo puoi usare col Bianco, contro la Siciliana (secondo Gary Lane);
5) ti fa capire perchè i motori NON possono aiutarti nella preparazione delle aperture. GM M. Marin, in “Grandmaster Repertoire 3, The English Opening Vol 1″ – 2009, scrive:
” The whole variation is unfashionable nowadays, when opening preparation tends to be mainly based on the engines’ suggestions. Computers can do an excellent job when forced variations with clear consequences are available, but they cannot help us to understand strategic subtleties and long-term planning – two elements that are essential for handling: this variation properly. This latter aspect also explains why the great players of the past liked this variation. White’s set-up is a lot more dangerous for Black than is commonly believed.”
